Our main focus of the Charitable Hospital eye care. The
Charitable Hospital already has an impressive track record in the environment of
the Kumaon Hills. The hospital covers an area with a radius of 170 km.
Below the main treatments are listed:
- Cataract operation, at the Hospital's premises. The
patients are transported from their villages to the Charitable Hospital
- Rural out-reach eye care; the medical staff goes with
their equipment to rural areas for first line medical care of different
type, not only eye care but for instance dentical care
- Mega camps, where the people come from great distance to
the hospital for first line medical care
- Glaucoma treatment (new); because of the success of the
eye-care programmes an extension to glaucoma treatment has been started
recently.
